What is CIDAMi?
Cacao Industry Development Association of Mindanao, Inc. (CIDAMi) is a cacao value-chain organization composed of farmers and farmer cooperatives, nursery operators, traders, processors, input suppliers, and academe. It is a non-stock, non-profit organization that links private and government sectors, non-government organizations, and all cocoa stakeholders across Mindanao.
As the leading advocate of the cacao industry in Mindanao, CIDAMi aims to be the steward in creating a sustainable and competitive cacao industry which in effect elevates the lives of all its stakeholders, especially small farm holders. This vision is realized through the different activities and projects spearheaded by CIDAMi that is bent towards ushering us in a new age of cacao as a highly-valued market commodity and means of livelihood and income.
One of CIDAMi’s objective is to provide knowledge, technical assistance, and relevant key information to anyone seeking to contribute to the development of an intensive and sustainable Philippine Cacao Industry. With the training and expertise of CIDAMi’s professionals and staff combined with experience and passion- along with various contributors, partners, and stakeholders, CIDAMi’s vision of Mindanao as a world-renowned quality cocoa producer is coming to fruition.
CIDAMi is based in Davao City, Mindanao, Philippines and is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on August 1, 2011 under SEC Registration No. CN201131514.
